Joe Davy, CEO of EvoApp, moderated the discussion panel put together by Datamensional for the "Business Analytics and Decision Making"
Event co-sponsored by Datamensional and Pentaho.  The event was part of a series titled "The Business Intelligence Executive Breakfast Series".  The Panel was made up of several key executives from the Triangle area and a a high level representative of Pentaho Corporation.  Dave Henry, VP of Services for Pentaho Corporation, was among Ryan Allis, CEO of iContact, Chris Neal, CEO of BlueStripe Software, and Jeff Kramer, VP of Technology for Hosted Solutions.  Chris Neal lightened the mood with plenty of humor as did Ben Goewey, President of Datamensional, when Ben introduced Joe Davy, the CEO of EvoApp, and explained that Joe was still celebrating his 21st birthday a week after it had occured. The panel expressed Business Analytics are a driving force in conducting good business today and they gave specific examples of how their companies applied these practices.  In addition to the informative panel, some networking, and an excellent breakfast prepared by the Cardinal Club, Datamensional presented an optional demonstration at the end.  Ben Goewey, Principal Consultant and President of Datamensional, took center stage and lead the audience through some of the many features and benefits of the Pentaho Business Intelligence Suite.

Testimonials from Attendees:

"I was fortunate enough to attend Datamensional’s first Business Intelligence Executive Breakfast, which was beyond impressive.  A real breakfast on the top floor of the Cardinal Club with an all-star panel of tech industry leaders was a great way to start the day.  The information was definitely geared towards a tech-savvy audience, but it didn’t go over the rest of our heads, either.  The concepts made sense, and the onscreen demonstrations were easy to follow.  The presentation and execution of the event was at a level you would expect to see from a seasoned events-driven company, not a group of IT gurus and computer software geniuses.  I’m excited to see what the future holds for these guys!"  Justin Poole, Triangle Business Journal.

"The event Datamensional put together brought together thought leaders and successful executives - and I learned a lot. The event gave insight into performance management and decision making through effective data presentation. I love what Datamensional does, and how they help companies make better decisions faster using the data already available to them."  Craig Matthews, Chief Thinkologist, BigThink.

"I thoroughly enjoyed the Business Analytics seminar hosted by Datamensional. The panel, consisting of major players in the RTP technology sector, was engaging and informative—I’ve found it rare to attend a seminar that has so much to say and manages to say it in an interesting way. The theoretical discussion of business analytics combined with practical recommendations for how to get the most out of your business data was excellent information for any business owner or executive. I look forward to future events!"  -- Julia McClung, President, InContext, Inc.

"The Business Intelligence Executive Breakfast Briefing I attended was very informative. The panel of knowledgeable business leaders that included Ryan Allis of iContact, Jeff Kramer of Hosted Solutions, Chris Neal of BlueStripe Software and Dave Henry of Pentaho, was great. Together they provided great perspective on Business Intelligence and there was no question that could not be answered.  It would be great if more businesses would follow Datamentional's lead in creating briefings of this type.  In addition, it was a great opportunity to connect with the business leaders in this area.  I am looking forward to the next Briefing."  Bill Davis, Owner, Team Nimbus of North Carolina.

" Datamensional recently hosted a fantastic and educational event to discuss business intelligence. A huge topic that they made fun and informative with the high caliber speakers and experts they attract.  Everyone had something of value to offer. I personally gained valuable insights and look forward to the next meeting.  Thank you Datamensional!"  Chris Cimino, President, Sales Pro Connect.
